Wearing an unpadded bra, wrap a measuring tape around the top of your ribcage. You’re looking for a snug fit - so we recommend tightening on the exhale and noting the smallest measurement to the decimal.

I recently underwent a lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy, leaving me with two incisions: one on my breast and one under my arm. I was instructed to wear a supportive, front-closure bra throughout my recovery.
Now, as someone who barely wears bras to begin with and has been loyal to the same minimal bralette style for years, comfort was naturally my number one priority, followed by simplicity and function.
Knix kept coming up in conversations with other women/warriors who have also gone through breast cancer and people who have had breast reconstruction surgeries. So, I decided to visit the store and try a few on.
I remember standing in the fitting room, trying to get used to closures, compression and removable padding, thinking “How on earth am I going to be comfortable in this?!” Especially when I’m so used to wearing next to nothing!
Despite my hesitation, I purchased two (both size Medium) so I could alternate between them during recovery.
Well, let me tell you…
After surgery, my surgeon emphasized how important wearing a supportive bra would be for healing, so that’s exactly what I did. And I cannot express how grateful I am that I bought TWO.
Even with my initial doubts and backup options from other brands waiting at home, Knix has become my absolute comfort throughout healing.

I actually found these too late for post op use after my lumpectomies, but they were wonderful during radiation treatment as they are so soft and didn’t agitate my tender skin.
I only wish they came in pale colors (pale pink, nude) as they remain my favorite leisure bras, but I can’t wear them under light colored tops.

I'm currently a 34DDD and I bought this bra to wear after my breast reduction surgery. I was hoping to be able to wear the bra before the surgery as it says on the size chart that a medium will fit from a 34A to a 34DDD when I enter my bra size, however, I tried it on and it does not fit my boobs at all. Luckily this is for after a breast reduction so hopefully it will fit after the surgery but I wanted to make sure that anyone hoping to get this and expecting it to fit a DDD don't waste your time because it won't unless you like to be spilling out everywhere. Other than that it seems very soft and comfortable so hopefully it will be comfortable to wear after my surgery.
