How to Measure
In order to select the correct sizing, we recommend you take the following measurements using a soft tape measure. If necessary, ask someone else to help.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Keep the tape snug and level, but not tight. The number where it meets is your waist measurement.
Hip
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight. The number where it meets is your hip measurement.

I just bought a second pair of these awesome swim shorts. I deeply love them for three reasons:
1) Excellent quality holds up to swimming 3-4 times a week. Still have their shape and elasticity.
2) They work as advertised. I bought them for a dance performance and they functioned perfectly.
3) They fit fantastic. Just like the image, they hit right under the navel. Keep my belly roll contained nicely and don't ride up.

I really liked these for swimming this summer. I only had light flow when I did, so I don’t know how it would handle heavy flow. The absorbent layer didn’t get droopy and waterlogged by pool water as I feared it would. Paired it with a rash guard and it looked pretty cool.
